Dorothy Clive Gardens

Today we visited Dorothy Clive Gardens http://www.dorothyclivegarden.co.uk/ a local public garden based near Nantwich, Cheshire and was originally conceived by one man’s immense love of his wife. The intention of the visit was to measure a large flower bed that the class have the opportunity to redesign.

......... but I did manage to take a sneaky look round the rest of the garden!

  1. That's one of the most romantic things I've every heard of...a garden inspired by love between man and wife. It's like a living Taj Mahal...

  2. It certainly looks like there's plenty of colour left in the garden, even at this time of year.

  3. Oh lucky you. I have visited Dorothy Clive a couple of times but never at this time of year. It looks as if there was still much to enjoy ~ glad to hear that you had time for a sneaky peep :)

  4. It did still look great although some borders around the entrance were starting to have a face lift!

  5. I'm not terribly good at flower names and I'd love to know the name of that extraordinary purple/pink plant in your top row of photos! If you know, could you email me or leave me a comment?
Wish I lived closer to that garden, it certainly looks like a wonderful place to visit!
